Our friendly family run campsite situated in the heart of Strontian has been running for over 40 years. Set in the small quiet village of Strontian, Sunart Camping is the ideal location for exploring the stunning unspoilt Ardnamurchan peninsula and surrounding areas of Sunart, Moidart, Ardgour and Morvern, some of the most beautiful areas of Scotland.

Ardnamurchan is renowned for its abundant wildlife and its white sandy beaches and you won’t fail to be impressed. Loch Sunart is a sea loch and is a haven for otters, seals, oyster catchers, heron and curlew. Sunart Camping is the ideal base for touring the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. The Isle of Mull is just a short ferry journey away and the Isle of Skye can be reached by ferry from Mallaig or by road via the Kyle of Lochalsh.

The village of Strontian has a well stocked store, cafe, post office, tourism and gift shop, restaurants and a pub all within walking distance from the campsite. The fishmonger calls at the campsite every Tuesday with fresh local produce so why not treat yourself to hand dived scallops or langoustines.
